Rinsey Mills has been an enthusiast and student of all forms of mechanised transport since his teens. He has owned and used a number of commercial vehicles including a Bedford TK, a Ford D-series and a 1930 Ford Model A van which was his everyday transport in the 1980s. As a writer, he has produced a number of authoritative books on automotive subjects in the last 15 years. The genesis of this book came about when he was able to acquire from the late Peter Richley, a close friend and a life-long collector of automotive ephemera, a large box containing around 1000 commercial vehicle sales brochures which Peter had salted away years before.
